How
do I register?
Registering is easy and you only need to do it one time!
If you are a first-time user, simply select the lesson you want
to take. You’ll then come to a screen that asks you if you have
already registered on Private Lessons Channel. Since you have
not registered with Private Lessons Channel, click NO. This will
take you to a screen where you will register. You’ll enter some
general information about yourself and you will choose a user
name and password that will be yours and yours alone every time
you return to PLC. The information we ask about you is only to
help make PLC easier to use when you come back again. Please note
that we value your privacy as much as you do and will do our utmost
to protect it at all times. Please see our
Privacy Policy for details.
How do I pay for a
Lesson?
This is as easy as registering. Simply provide your credit card
information to our secure server in the on-screen convenient form.
If you are buying a subscription to a course on Private Lessons
Channel, your credit card will be billed monthly in 3 installments.
By purchasing a course
or product on Private Lessons Channel you agree that in the event
your credit card becomes invalid, you will provide PLC with a
new valid credit card upon request, to be charged for the payment
of any outstanding balances owed to PLC.
If you would like
to purchase a course without using a credt card, you can send
a check or money order for the amount of the lesson/course to

Please enclose a
note that includes the name of the lesson/course you wish to purchase
and your contact infromation (phone number and e-mail address).
We will contact you by phone or e-mail when your check or money
order has cleared.
How do I take my lesson?
To take your lesson or course,
simply go to www.privatelessons.net and click on the login button.
This will take you to a page which asks if you have ever registered
with Private Lessons Channel. Since you have already registered
and since you have already purchased a lesson, click on the YES
button. This will take you to the login page. Enter your username
and password and hit go. This will take you back to the Private
Lessons Channel Home/Main page. On the Home/Main page, click on
the Course Category where your lesson or course exists. The course
categories are Arts & Crafts, Business & Finance, Career
Development, Computer Skills, Home & Garden, Travel &
Recreation, and Wellness. This will take you to the Course category
page. Then using the scoll bar, scroll down to the lesson or course
you purchased and click on the lesson or course. This will take
you to the course teaser page. Using your scroll bar, scroll down
to the tan box that reads TAKE LESSON. This will take you to the
first page of the lesson or course you have purchased.
How
long can I stay online and take a lesson?
There are several ways to purchase a lesson. How you choose
to purchase a lesson will determine how long you will have to
take a lesson.
PURCHASING A LESSON:
If you choose
to purchase just a lesson, you can take your lesson for as long
as you wish in a 7 day period from the time you start the lesson.
That is, once you pay for a lesson, you can stay online as long
as you want and come back to the lesson again and again for 7
days.
PURCHASING
A COURSE:
If you choose
to purchase a course, you will have access to all 3 Lesson Courses
for 3 weeks and all 4 Lesson Courses for 4 weeks. You can take
your Course for as long as you wish in that 3 or 4 week period.
That is once you pay for a course, you can stay online for as
long as you want and come back to the course again and again for
the specified period.
PURCHASING
A SUBSCRIPTION TO A COURSE
If
you choose to purchase a subscription to a course, you will have
access to the course for 3 months. You can take your Course for
as long as you wish for 3 months. That is once you pay for a course,
you can stay online for as long as you want and come back to the
course again and again for 3 months.
How long is a lesson?
Lessons typically last from one to two hours. With this in mind
all 3 lesson courses typically last for three to six hours, all
4 lesson courses typically last for four to eight hours depending
on how fast you want to explore and learn.
The 1 Minute Learning Coruses, Westnet Computer Networking Courses,
Mental Health Continuing Counselor Education Courses and Pharmacy
Continuing Education Courses may require more time.
Our best advice is to take your time, enjoy, and learn!
How
can I learn about lesson instructors?
We’ll have information about them in the lessons and, in
some cases, links to their own Web sites or email addresses.
Can I purchase
more than one lesson at a time?
Yes, you can. Purchase as many as you like at any time.

What software
do I need on my computer to take a lesson?
You’ll need a browser, either
Opera 4.0 or higher, Netscape
4.0 or higher, or Microsoft
Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. For many courses, you’ll
need the plug-ins Real Audio,
Flash and QuickTime.
If you don’t have them already, you can get them now by clicking
on their names above. They are easy to download and install and
you only have to do it once. You can also get these plug-ins in
the lessons where they are required. We strongly encourage you
to have them. They are what help make the lessons so engaging.

How
do I get a refund?
The
Private lessons Channel (www.privatelessons.net) is a web-based
provider of trustworthy on-line courseware that is geared for
the Adult Learner. Our aim is to help people take quality on-line
courses in a variety of subjects.
We
believe that the courseware we provide is of the highest quality.
However,
should a customer decide that the courseware or products delivered
is not what they wanted then the following refund policy shall
be in effect:

Refunds
will only be made if there is repeatable technical problem that
is clearly the responsibility of The Private Lessons Channel and
the customer informs PLC of this problem in a timely manner.
If
you cancel your lesson, course purchase or subscription within
24 hours you will receive a full refund. NO refund after 24 hours.
Refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of the request
for refund.
Your
refund will be expedited when you provide us your customer ID
number and the invoice number that was Emailed to you immediately
after you originally signed up.
